Wanda is the Senior Fellow of Central America Programme within the Americas Centre

Expertise in national and regional case studies, especially in the fields of human rights, development, inclusion, and education. Particular attention on hard-to-reach communities and public opinion topics.

Background

Wanda is a researcher with two Masters degrees in Political Science and Human Rights law, BA in international relations, graduated with honours in all three. She is the Senior Fellow of the Americas Centre at the CYIS, very passionate about the crossroads between speech and politics, as well as the application of human rights in national and regional settings. 


She has extensive experience researching the correlation between economic crises, human rights, and speech in case studies such as Venezuela and the MERCOSUR. Experience in project management and high-level European and non-European research. 


Wanda has worked for two programmes of the United Nations and organised the biggest Model of United Nations in Venezuela. Native-level English and Spanish and fluent French and Italian.
