Financial & Partnerships Assistant

Summary:

  • Working under the Director of Operations and side by side with the HR Manager, this role provides essential support in financial tracking, administrative reporting, and the research of partnership agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing annual budget reports and financial statements.

  • Track expenditures and manage receipts.

  • Draft correspondence for potential commercial/benefit partners.

  • Maintain the donor and partnership database.

Requirements:

  • Consisting experience in Human Resources management (previous volunteer experience highly valued).

  • Knowledge of European non-profit HR standards (ASBL context preferable).

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

HR Manager

HR Manager

Summary:

  • The HR Manager is responsible for managing the full volunteer lifecycle at CYIS, from recruitment and onboarding to training and offboarding, ensuring a positive and compliant experience for all members. This is a critical role for our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the Recruitment Plan, including overseeing the interview process.

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate the onboarding and training for all new volunteers.

  • Maintain accurate records of all CYIS members.

Editorial Manager

Editorial Manager

Summary:

  • The Editorial Manager is responsible for the overall quality and consistency of all written output from the CYIS Research Branch, including publications, policy briefs, and online articles. This role involves managing a team of editors and working closely with the Head of Research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce editorial guidelines and style guides (British English).

  • Oversee the peer-review and editing process for all major publications.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the a future Editor team.

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality research content.

Requirements:

  • Convincing editing experience, preferably in International Relations or Policy.

  • Very high level fluency in English.

  • Strong managerial and project management skills.

  • Bachelor minimum.
