Purpose

The Social Impact Policy at CYIS underscores our commitment to making a positive impact on society by prioritizing the well-being of our employees, supporting community initiatives, and engaging in responsible business practices. This policy reflects our belief in the power of our organization to contribute to societal good, emphasizing the importance of a healthy work-life balance, community engagement, and ethical conduct.

Scope

This policy applies to all CYIS operations, activities, and decisions that have the potential to impact our employees, communities, and the wider society. It encompasses all CYIS employees, including full-time, part-time, and contract workers, across all levels and departments.

CYIS is committed to:

• Promoting Employee Well-being:

We pledge to support and promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees by providing resources and programs that encourage a healthy work-life balance, including flexible working hours, wellness programs, and employee assistance programs.

• Community Engagement and Support:

CYIS is dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. We will engage in and support initiatives that address local needs, such as education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and social welfare, through volunteering, donations, and partnerships with local organizations.


• Ethical Business Practices: We commit to conducting our business ethically and transparently, adhering to the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance. This includes responsible sourcing, fair labor practices, and anti-corruption measures.

• Inclusivity and Diversity:

CYIS recognizes the value of diversity and inclusivity, both within our organization and in our interactions with the community. We are committed to fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated, and all individuals have equal opportunities to contribute and succeed.

In addition to our Environmental Sustainability Policy, we acknowledge the social impact of environmental responsibility and commit to incorporating environmental considerations into our community engagement efforts.

• Implementation
Well-being Programs:

CYIS will develop and maintain programs aimed at supporting employee well-being, such as mental health support, fitness subsidies, and family-friendly policies.

• Community Involvement Initiatives:

We will regularly identify opportunities for community involvement and encourage employee participation in volunteering and community service projects.


• Ethical Conduct Training:

All employees will receive training on ethical conduct, corporate governance, and social responsibility to ensure they understand and can contribute to our social impact goals.


• Diversity and Inclusion Training:

Training programs will also be implemented to educate employees about the importance of diversity and inclusion, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.


• Monitoring and Reporting:

CYIS will monitor the effectiveness of our social impact initiatives and report on our progress to stakeholders through annual social responsibility reports.

Responsibilities

Leadership is responsible for setting the strategic direction of CYIS’s social impact initiatives and ensuring the allocation of resources to support these efforts.
Human Resources is responsible for developing and overseeing programs related to employee well-being, diversity, and inclusion.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team (if applicable) is tasked with coordinating community engagement initiatives, ethical business practices, and environmental responsibility efforts.

Employees are encouraged to participate in well-being programs, volunteer for community service projects, and adhere to ethical business practices.

Review and Modification

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains aligned with our organizational values and societal expectations.

Adjustments will be made as necessary to respond to new social challenges, feedback from employees and communities, and evolving best practices in social responsibility.

By enacting this Social Impact Policy, CYIS affirms its dedication to fostering a positive work environment, contributing to the well-being of communities, and engaging in responsible and ethical business practices, thereby ensuring a lasting positive impact on society.
