Alexandra is a jurist specialised in Human Rights. Alexandra main field of research falls within legal sociology. She is particularly engaged with gender discrimination from an intersectional perspective, especially focused on black and Afro-descendant women. 

Alexandra currently works as an advocacy officer for Réseau International des Droits Humains - Europe, an human rights NGO specially focused on the Latin American and the Caribbean Region. While working for RIDHE, Alexandra developed a deep knowledge on Central America, specially Nicaragua.
