Angela is the Director of the Americas Centre. She leads the Americas Centre to contribute with analysis and regional perspectives to the work of CYIS on global security, economic-environmental and humanitarian threats.

Background
Angela holds a dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics (LSE) and Peking University. Angela also completed two Bachelor’s degrees in Education and French Studies with a high distinction from Queen’s University. Prior to joining CYIS, Angela has conducted education policy research for the United Nations Office at Nairobi and worked for the Federal Government of Canada to facilitate the integration of refugee youth in Toronto. Having straddled between Canada, the UK, France, and China growing up and for her studies, Angela has developed a keen interest in foreign policy, international relations, and comparative education. Angela currently works full-time at APF Canada - a Canadian think tank that bridges Canada’s relationship with countries in the Asia Pacific region.
